I heard about renting a Felucca when we started researching Egypt. I heard it’s a great way to unwind after work. A perfect way to cool off on a hot day. I thought that “they” might be exaggerating, or it might be hard to do, or pricey. I was wrong. I love Feluccas! I want to go on a felucca as many times as I can!! It was everything advertised.

Feluccas are replica sail boats from ancient Egypt. They are fairly large. 20 people easily fit on one. There are benches for people to sit on and shade. They cost about 60EGP ($8.20) per hour to rent. That is not per person. That’s for the whole boat! They are pretty simple with no toilets. You don’t reserve them.
